There is plenty of space for the little ones to run around and play! Whether the trampoline, the giant slide or the hamster wheel – take your time and discover your favourite spot in the large adventure playground.

In our petting zoo there is something for every animal lover, from rabbits to goats and sheep.


Picnic at the Lake

If you are looking for an attractive spot for a break, then our picnic area is just right for you. Enjoy the tranquility by the water and relax on our sunloungers. Have fun on the water hoppers or dare to jump into the cool water. If you need a little refreshment, unpack your picnic blanket and light the barbecue. You can reserve equipment from us in advance.

Cable Ferry

We have a special attraction for the explorers among you. Right behind the petting zoo you will find the cable ferry that takes you over the Herzbergstich lake.

Tip: Remember to loosen the anchor rope. Otherwise you can pull on the rope for a very  long time. Have fun!

Field Railway Display

At the field railway display, you can learn a lot about the history of field railways as THE means of conveying and transporting raw materials and bricks. This is also where the rail bike rides start. Step on the pedals and explore the area on a short trip.

Tip: Pick up speed before the bends. Enjoy yourselves!

During opening hours you can hire go-karts, bicycles, e-bikes and toddlers´ balancing bikes by the hour or day from the visitor centre. The spacious cycling area also has several paved paths, which you can use to cycle to the highlights in the park, such as the exhibitions, the playground or the petting zoo. Great fun for visitors of all ages.

Explore the unique clay pit landscape by bike, stopping off at the places you like best. There’s no need to bring your own bike, as you can hire comfortable bikes or e-bikes from us. NEW: Bikes can also be hired from the ELAN petrol station in Zehdenick. Just call us on 03307 311 566!

Make your own Brick

How difficult was it to make bricks back in those days? In the drying shed, you can make your own brick on one of our old moulder´s tables. Put on your apron and get to work!

Tip: Throw the clay into the mould quickly. But be careful, it can get messy!

Treasure Hunts


The search for the secret symbols in the brickyard park is as mysterious as its name. On your tour, discover all the places the Master Brickmaker has been to and learn how bricks were made. There are secret signs all over the park. When you have cracked the code, you get to open the locks on the treasure chest in the visitor center.

Tip: The treasure hunt is for children from 6 years of age. The little ones will need a bit of help.

Discovery Tour

On this treasure hunt you will explore the entire park. Who is resourceful and can answer all the questions about the brickyard? You will also learn how hard brickmakers had to work and at the end of the tour receive a Master Brickmaker Certificate and a surprise gift.

GPS Treasure Hunt

Experience a very special kind of treasure hunt with one or our GPS devices. The points are already saved so that you can set off immediately on your tour to search for the hiding places.

Brickyard Train Driving License

During school holidays, we offer something very special: Learn how to drive a diesel locomotive and obtain your brickyard train driver’s license on an Ns 2. You should be at least 1.30 meters tall, so that you can look through the window of the locomotive.
