If you are looking for a special excursion destination for the whole family, you have found the ideal place in the Mildenberg Brickworks Park.
The industrial museum in nature, located in the heart of the Zehdenick clay pit landscape directly on the Havel, an hour north of Berlin: an adventure park for the whole family.
Children under 4 years have free entry. Of course, the four-legged family members can also come in for free.
Up close, young and old can move through the old, authentic ring kilns and machine halls, build, crank, stack, press, look and, above all, hear and feel how the machines roared through the halls back then.
At old painting tables under the drying shed, visitors young and old can form (“paint”) bricks themselves and take them with them as souvenirs or dry them in the brickworks park and have them burned for the brick fire in the adventure land in autumn.
The rides on the light railways are also eventful: that's industrial culture live. The brickworks railway leads past ring kilns, former brickworks barracks, a hall with a field railway collection and even right through the old brickworks in Stackebrandt with an operational steam engine.
