The ring kiln revolutionized the brick industry in the 19th century. Continuous firing provided the bricks with consistent quality. The ring kiln consists of a large oval with about 14 to 18 large chambers in which a fire can be maintained independently of each other.
The opportunity to organize a conference on a disused burner stage is second to none. A visit in advance is recommended! It is an open stage that cannot be heated. The historic floor was laid with bricks and is therefore uneven.
The brick factory built in 1927/28 by entrepreneur Georg Stackebrandt was the most modern in the region until the mid-50s.
The large steam engine, which once generated the labor for all brick-making machines, electricity for the lighting and the electric drives, offers an extraordinary backdrop for receptions and smaller events.
Multimedia exhibitions on the history of brickworks and technology, exciting guided tours, train rides, large playground with small animal enclosure and events. Young and old can experience, experience and explore a lot in the brick factory park.
